This week's results: epic fail.

This week, I've been useless.  Work has drained just about all the energy this past week.  I'm a little amazed that I actually managed to start the attack bikes.  But I never got back to them.  So they never got done.  And I never painted any buildings.  So, I failed it on all counts this week.  On the other hand, I got an idea.  You see, earlier this week, I saw some pictures taken at a local shop I sometimes frequent, specifically, this one.  It occurred to me that I have some small walls such as this one...

...but I don't have anything big.  I mean like city wall big...  Well, now I do.

A couple of days ago, I drew it out.  Today I made copies and built one.  And it really is on scale with a city wall.  It is, scale wise, about the same size as the Inner Walls or the Blachernae walls of Constantinople but smaller than the Long Walls or the city walls of Beijing.  That's still nothing compared to some of the walls in the artwork for 40K but walls like those would be unreasonable for a battle and a pain to store, I think.  I figure that I'll make about four or five more and I'll have some serious city walls for my terrain.  My only real question at this point is what color do I want to paint them.  That is where you all come in.  I've painted a bunch of tan/adobe buildings so I might do tan.  I've also done some industrial concrete stuff in gray.  I also thought of some kind of metallic type thing like iron.  Of course, I've thought about doing them up in yellow and brown like the legendary honey-yellow walls of Constantinople because, well, you know, I'm totally living in the past.  Anyway, if you are so inclined (and actually got this far without zoning out), I point you to the poll on the right.

So next week, my goal is to paint 2 speeders and 3 buildings.  I may amend that to paint or build 3 buildings though, if you guys give me a bunch of choices in the poll, I may try to do both...

Enough geekery.  Time to change out some laundry and then go to bed, I think.  Sleep tight, my subjects, wherever you are.
